walls lined with sadness and fear

cracks exist along the way

this cave runs forever deep

a voice guides my steps

I’m so sorry for your sorrow, Kimberly. I’m sure it helps to write the words down….hugs to you

you are correct – it does help to write these feelings down – and I certainly admit they get deep and dark, but for me, i have no one else to really express these feelings because i have no one around me that truly understands. WP has become more than just a place to write, it has become a community that i feel alive ‘in’. this piece is interesting because it is actually more hopeful than many i have written in the past. i see cracks as a good thing – they let in some light and one can hear voices better – voices which help guide you through the tunnel – especially in hopes of making it out. You are one of those voices:)
