“The real reason the United States is referred to as a melting pot

is because

it has more active cultures than a cup of yogurt.”

Words from my son, who is now heading back to school to begin his sophomore year in college.  I said “I will see you soon” and hugged (squeezed) him very hard and left a few (okay, actually, many) tears on his shoulder.  I know he is doing what he must and doing the grow up thing but I am still a mom who misses her Pnut and a very leaky faucet.  Does any one have a number for a good plumber?   🙂

OMG I commented on the wrong post about this! Now I will copy and paste it so ignore it when you see it again! I’m officially a dork and a total mess~ Virtual HUG! I love your sweet heart and how much you love your boys! I too hang on and cry. I’ve been crying all morning! I have some news to tell you but not for WP fodder. LOL So when I saw this here come the tears. I don’t think we ever get used to hugging our babies and having them walk away from us into this big old world without tears. LOTS of tears. If you called me now I wouldn’t be able to talk. Nobody touches your heart like that! I know it. I love you! ❤ I'm here for you! Call me and we'll cry together! I love Pee's photo! that made me cry too! 😦

Just like the other day, I was listening to Bach’s Concerto in D for two violins. I was interrupted by a phone call and I was bummed. I told Jordan that I do not want my Bach interrupted. He said – “it’s okay. You can always go Bach to it!” Oy. This is what I miss the most I think – he can make me laugh like no other person on the planet;).
