take my hand…

ς

please take my hand

let us go for a stroll

along a very narrow path ~

a path which leads to a faraway place,

where my dreams were born to dance.

~

it is a quiet place,

barely room for two

and

it isn’t very bright ~

with a few cobwebs here,

a lot of dust over there

and

in desperate need of light.

~

there was a time when this place saw

nothing

but

that of wishes,

hopes

and

dreams ~

then along came death, sadness and pain

with the worst of it all, being fear.

~

time and again,

i have walked this path ~

to pay a visit to this place

but

i lost the desire to stay for long

and

after a while, simply lost my way.

~

i still do believe this place exists

though

it may not be clear to me

and

i want so much to walk this path ~

to dance ~ to dream ~ to breathe

~

so

~

if you could spare a minute,

an hour

or

two

i would be honored to hold your hand ~

because

with you

i believe

this path can be found ~

~ rediscovering love ~

the beauty of living life’s dance.

I hope you find it again. I’m not looking but I am hopeful for you.

i can understand you not wanting to look, but, you never know right? on this path of our so-called life, there are always unexpected ‘things’ – one never knows what these things may turn out to be? xo

So beautiful. Holding hands down a path of rediscovering love when you thought you would never be on such a path again. The honor is with the one holding your hand. Such a moving piece.

Merci beaucoup. I am afraid I am not one to write of such a thing, that being my writing has a tendency to be a bit dark, but I felt a flash of inspiration and this was a gift of that inspiration.
