middle ground…

:

whether I

walk or run,

fly or fall ~

I am either

steady or stumbling

along ~  ~

the twists and turns,

ups and downs,

overs and unders

and

the sideways, wrong ways and right ways of life.

:

can never seem to find the middle ground……..

…..

Hi Words4jp, I get what you are saying, I think lol. Life never seems to rest very long in the middle ground before something comes along to trip you up.

My approach to this is to try to keep my head held high and to see over the waves… It’s like swimming in the sea … You ride the waves .. Keeping an eye on the horizon and also the safety of the shore.

Thinking of sea metaphors.. I see a poster quite regularly of a ship in full sail out on the high seas and the caption reads something like … A ship is not made to stay in the safety of the harbour..

Think that has a great meaning there… Ships could stay in harbour all safe but like a ship needs to put out to sea in order to fulfil its purpose we need to put out into the wonders of the world and see what our purpose is … What we can achieve!

    Hope you’re all good Words4jp 🙂

I’m not sure what middle ground is, now that you mention it. Maybe Pee is middle ground, what do you think? She’s not up and down but always just in the middle, right?

Pee and big Pee and Jordy are my rocks. I think sometimes middle ground is like coasting. Not difficult but not super easy. Doable.

I only seem to remember the highs and lows, yet I only see them as they recede. I usually feel in the middle. Very thought-provoking.

It’s tough sometimes to find balance in a world that is always changing… totally get that!

Sometimes I feel like I am riding a scale or a teeter totter….. It would be nice to just coast once in awhile. 🙂
