Monday in Paris #2

Saint Jean-Baptiste by Jean Dampt at the Musee d’Orsay

with words spoken to my heart

~ and ~

a silent kiss placed upon my soul,

she speaks to me in a voice…

interpreted

by my imagination.

This week’s challenge encompasses the color orange.  It seems I have quite a bit of orange on my walls and walking around the house.  As one can see above, each element of orange, is related to the arts in some way, including the bonus photo.  My son Peyton has always enjoyed drawing and painting.  My mother’s dream was to become a commercial artist.  My son Jordan is on his way to becoming a ‘big deal’ in Hollywood and Sydnee Pee – everyone knows she is the quintessential super model and dramatic actress.

this concerto i live

breathes

the same melody

…day after day…

solo adagios of somber and cloudy grays

yet

an allegro of color can burst on to the scene

and

PRESTO ~ ~ life does not feel as dull as it seems!
