Il Divo!

he never arrives unannounced,

everyone knows he is on his way ~

taking his time to make an entrance

while all of the other guests wait

……………..

he is constantly changing his wardrobe

to fit his ever fluctuating weight

but

it seems he looks his best

when he is at his ‘fullest’ shape.

once in a while

he may change his color,

instead of his ‘predictable’ white

but

prefers to go formal

since all of his escapades occur at night.

he is really quite

the Divo

always commanding attention

~ when he shows ~

moving slowly across the dance floor

and

THEN

striking a rather illuminating pose.

after a while

the party gets boring,

as the vibe begins to wane

and

the Divo decides to exit ~

striking one last pose with a wink and a wave

~

BUT

~

he always takes his time

~ never dropping out of view ~

slowing

fading

so

he can admire

‘the hot’

and

voluptuous

lady

~ THE DIVA ~

with

the bodaciously,

provocative

moves.

a chilly game

sitting on uninviting slabs

wind whooshing through fleece

air nipping at noses

autumn soccer and sunsets

looking toward the stars

she cries out for her lover

a post script:  in the middle of the night, i heard howling.  i have seen the coyotes in my neighborhood but i have never heard them before…
last night they were singing…
