Big Wishes meet Big Dreams

Enjoy your bite of the big shiny apple.

Savor all of its goodness

and

what makes it unique.

You will never find another fruit so delicious,

so juicy ~ you will be

amazed & inspired.

So,

eat as much as you can

and

pay attention

to all that you savor…..oh….and

you may come across

a little seed left by me.

Please

leave it where it is

and

maybe

just maybe,

you will plant

a little seed of your own.

holding on but trying to let go

~

i try to filter out the dark from the light ~

think of his laugh, his voice,

his smile, his eyes

but

with the light comes darkness ~

the moment i last saw him as he walked away

and

the horror of finding

what i could never have imagined on that day ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~

how do i hold onto the beauty of his light

without

grasping the shadows of darkness?

~

~

miss you

three years

~

as another year passes,

i say goodbye…

again…

reliving the last days

before an unexpected farewell.

~

every moment is engraved

deep within my mind

&

my body still aches

with

each beat of my heart.

Weekly Photo Challenge – Wall

~

~

134 door

a door frame at our old two flat

~

~

As usual, I had to skew the rules of this week’s photo challenge.  As you can see, the photograph is that of a door frame – not a wall.  In my mind, a door frame could be considered part of a wall, so… this is a wall.

This photo is actually one of several due to the fact I wanted to be able to see the details.  In case you are wondering, this is a quintessential growth chart.  It began in 2002 and was actually moved next door (in 2007) when our friend re-fabricated his kitchen.  I transferred the information from the piece of wood to the frame above and, of course, we added on…  I took this photo a few days before we moved in April, 2013.  (By the way, I was given the original door frame, which is still with us to this day.)

If you look very closely, you can see my name (mom) and when J and P passed me up!

i can still wish…

*

three years without you has been an adventure ~

a never-ending roller coaster of life ~ ~

where the valleys have out numbered the peaks.

i still miss you everyday

and

hear your voice and laughter

and

wish you would return,

though

i know you cannot make the journey

but

still… a girl can wish upon stars and shiny pennies… can she not?

*

maybe one day,

you will drop by and pay us a little visit ~

hang out like we used to….

we can take in a movie

and

eat all of our favorite naughty foods

or

go cruising in Starla and camping in the Vee.

i know the boys would be all for it

and

Sydnee Pee would certainly not object,

though you may have to fight for a spot on her couch.

yes,

you heard me correctly – ‘her’ couch.

*

a girl can still wish

and

i will keep on wishing

and

i will – we will – continue loving you.

i can assure you of this ~

forever.

*

thinking.....thinking.....

the three boys thinking…..thinking…..
