a feathered symphony

cheeps, tweets

squawks and caws…

coos, pecks

honks and quacks…

quite an ensemble of musicians

to awaken the senses ~

performing a melange of melodies

to accompany life’s many dances….

without water

my words are scattered ~ ~

they are everywhere

and

nowhere.

I feel lost

in a pool

of

profound redundancy.

cookies

i can be the milk to your cookie…

i can even be the chocolate chip to your cookie…

but

i cannot be the plate to your cookie…

i never want to be left behind.

a little reminder

when it is dark

and

you are afraid,

close your eyes

and

listen with your heart

to

a familiar rhythm in the distance ~ ~

it led you into this world

and

it will be with you ~ always ~

before…

any day can bring goodbye ~

so

before

we touch the sky ~

before the wind blows…

going…

i find moments ~

so many moments

dancing amongst a stage

full of shimmers

and

murky shadows…

all

waltzing upon waves of time

coming from… going to…

someplace

yet

going to where…

i do not know.

waves

~ waves ~

present always…

my thoughts of you

are

very much like the sun ~

they rise and fall,

shine and fade

but

they never

drop

out

of

sight…

.

they are omnipresent…

.

forever floating through…

.

me…always.
